Mindy LUI Yan Yi 雷恩兒
Mindy LUI (b.1997, Hong Kong) obtained her BA in Fine Arts from the Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University in 2020, and is now pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She works primarily with drawing and painting, and increasingly experiments with adjacent video and found objects installation. Focusing on the material cultures of various everyday objects, her practice examines the value ascribed to man made objects and opens up the possibilities of intimacy and the bond between humans and objects.
She has exhibited in Hong Kong, including at Hidden Space, Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong, Ben Brown Fine Arts, Contemporary by Angela Li, De Sarthe Gallery, and Wure Area. Lui participated in the artist residency programme at Art Space Tetra in Fukuoka, Japan in 2023. Her works have been exhibited in Fukuoka, Japan, Zurich, Switzerland and Taichung, Taiwan.
雷恩兒（b.1997，香港）於2020年在香港浸會大學視覺藝術院獲得學士學位，並現正修讀香港中文大學的藝術碩士課程。她的作品媒材主要為石墨素描及繪畫，並越來越多地嘗試相呼應的錄像及現成物裝置。她的實踐聚焦於各種日常物件的物質文化，考究了歸於人造物件的價值，並打開了人與物件之間的親密和聯繫的可能性。
她的作品曾在Hidden Space、駐香港韓國文化院、布朗畫廊、李安姿當代空間、德薩畫廊和Wure Area等藝術空間及畫廊展出。她曾在日本福岡的Art Space Tetra參與藝術家駐留計劃（2023）。其作品曾於日本福岡、瑞士蘇黎世及台灣台中等地展出。
